Mission, Goals, and Objectives

The mission of the Rains High School Theatre Arts Department:

To grow as students, actors, techs, life-long learners, and people while experiencing, providing, and enjoying quality theatre that enriches the community, the school, and ourselves

1. To be one of the highest quality and most active theatre departments in the state of Texas

2. To provide students the opportunity to grow in acting, thinking skills, discipline, confidence, and personal awareness. 

3. To provide students college and career opportunities.

4. To create theatre that entertains and teaches.

5. To make memories that will last a lifetime.
